Kim Holland teaches music at The Prairie School in Racine, where she works with general music classes, drumming ensembles, primary and middle school choirs, and middle school theatre productions. Before moving to Wisconsin, Kim taught music at the Quad City Montessori School and earned an undergraduate degree from Augustana College. Kim received her Orff Schulwerk teacher certification training in San Francisco, and she currently serves as president of the local Milwaukee Orff Schulwerk chapter. Kim’s professional interests include music cognition, and her research project “Learning from Students, Learning from Music” was accepted for publication in Visions of Research in Music Education.
