Raffaele Annina teaches Italian at Mary D. Bradford High School, Kenosha, Wisconsin as well as the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Ralph was born in Genova, Italy and was raised in Brooklyn, New York from the age of five. He holds a BA in Political Science and Italian from Brooklyn College; a Masters in Public Administration, from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Organizational Development and Policy from New York University. He has received numerous grants and scholarships from the National Science Foundation, National Endowment for the Humanities and Università di Roma-Tor Vergata. He has taught in Siena, Italy through Carthage College. Ralph is a passionate Italophile. While in the technology field, he presented at the Hebrew University-Jerusalem, University of Delaware, Apple Conferences and PC Expo. His love of opera comes from listening to Texaco’s Saturday afternoon radio show from the Metropolitan Opera House at a very early age.
